It is interesting to compare the despair that starts 121 (see verses 1-6) with the last verse that concludes 123. The last verse tells us HOW we are supposed to endure the trials of life:<br /><br />D&C 123:17<br /><br /> 17 Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us <b><i>cheerfully</i></b> do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed.
