Unfortunately, you'd have to type for days on end to document all of the wrongs that have occurred just in the past few months.

My poor, poor brother Jon. I know of no one that is brought more joy from being with their children than him and, knowing this, she has struck him where it hurts most. It is selfish, unjust and WRONG. And you're right - it is the children who will suffer the most devastating, lasting effects. Does she really think they won't end up hating her for making it impossible to see their father? I expect that if she continues on this path it will only be about 10 more years before Liz realizes what she has done. And ten years goes so quickly. Maybe by the time they can think for themselves they will choose not to be with her anymore, which would break her heart and is, again, not best for the children. But by then it will be too late and she won't be able to undo the things she's done. I hope and pray that she has a change of heart before it's too late.

Rob did more construction on this wall than I did....

Rob did more construction on this wall than I did.

how do you track it? There will be scars that never heal. Daughters with involved fathers always fare better in life and love. They also learn to understand their Father in Heaven's love because they can relate it to the love of their earthly father. No "virtual" father, "telephone" father or visiting stranger can possibly have the same impact. If manipulating things to that end is not selfish, I don't know what is. These little girls will quickly forget the passionate and fun father they had - the father that their mother has taken them from, moving them across the country with the full intent of eliminating him from their lives - knowing he cannot find work in S.C. In her self-centered world of her own "happiness" she cannot even see the impact. She was blessed with a father and has no idea what she is doing to these girls by removing them from him. The full extent of what she has done, having him thrown out, forbidden to return, no chance for good-bye and the girls thinking he has just disappeared from their lives is unthinkable. Then to have the nerve to say he abandoned them because he returned to Utah where he could actually find work, where had a home to live in so he wouldn't be in the streets of a strange place and where he was with people who loved him; not those who treated him like dirt, stepped on him and accused him falsely - left him for dead on the street if not for the good Christian Samaritan who helped him. Many of these things were on it. One of my criteria (criterian?) may seem very judgmental, but it was that he came from a family with parents who were not divorced. I know that would seem to hold a man responsible for something that would not be his fault. But I felt I only wanted to marry a man who had a healthy marriage modeled for him.
