Silver Lining?

I am very lucky to have tech support right here in my family. When I have computer problems I have sons and sons-in-law who rush to my aid. For those who regularly read Aubrey's blog, you should know her computer is currently broken. It is causing her much grief to be without it because she is a compulsive writer who loves to blog, but she doesn't have the money to get it fixed right now. She said the sacrifice is worth it though because Steve (her husband) is not able to play his computer games and is enjoying more family time. Way to find the positive!

Who I am...

I'm "Dr. Mom," "Dex," "Merry Maid" (or Jetson's "Rosie"), "Betty Crocker," "Nurse Nancy," "Mom's B&B," "Miller Moving & Storage," "Dear Abby," "Got Junk?" "Google Maps," "Wiki-mom," "Memory Keeper" or "The Nanny" depending on who needs me at the moment. I'm a Mormon mom and grandma (traditional but sometimes unconventional). I like the new term for us boomer grandmas (glam-mother) because we have spent our whole lives redefining rules and stereotypes. WYSIWYG! I must have chocolate every day and I can say the alphabet backwards (fast!) - so can all my kids - our claim to fame!

Fundamental Principles of Our Religion

We don't spend our twenties trying to "find" ourselves....we know who we are. This gives us a jump-start on life!

Dulcet - adj. A sound or voice so gorgeous you just have to listen to it again and again no matter what. So recognizable that even the faintest hint of it in the distance can send your mind reeling. ecotistical adj. feeling self-important due to conservationist ecological practices
