City Creek Center

It's interesting to read how progress can continue even in a recession when debt is not part of the equation. Pay as you go seems to work better. Hmmmm (Photo from Mormontimes.com)
"Nationwide, about 12 other major shopping centers were scheduled to open in the next year, Mr. Taubman said, but almost all of them have been delayed. City Creek is one of the few that has not been hampered by the economic downturn..."


This promises to be not only an attractive and upscale, modernization of our tired downtown - it promises to have an uplifting climate as well. Most stores will close on Sundays - great for employees who like to enjoy their Sundays in worship or with family instead of at work. Even non-religious folks benefit from a day of rest where they can enjoy nature or recreate.
