Everyone has a bad day once in while. But, it's a real downer when you encounter someone who is negative about EVERYTHING. I know someone like that and it is not fun to be around her at all. In trying to befriend and help her sometimes I find myself spending more time there than most people are willing to try, but at whose expense? At what point do I move from trying to be her friend to just simply ignoring her and moving on for my own mental health?
She isn't my only negative influence. I need to remember this and try to be only a positive influence on others.
