My Dad's birthday and Sunday pictures

My parents look so young. I guess they WERE young - younger than I am now by a long shot I'm afraid.

My Dad almost two years ago

The boat we co-owned with my dad's brother. I learned to waterski with this boat and my dad's help. He also got me snow skiing when I was in the fourth grade. It turned out I loved the waterskiing but since I hate cold, downhill didn't stick past high school.

Some fun photos as we arrived home from church on Chinese New Year. (Noah, me, Adam). Are these boys getting big or what?). On that day the kids wear the clothes Fred brought from China.

Emma and her dad. Well, someone still looks little - at least by Fred - of course at 6 ft. 4 they're not apt to catch up with him so soon.

Who I am...

I'm "Dr. Mom," "Dex," "Merry Maid" (or Jetson's "Rosie"), "Betty Crocker," "Nurse Nancy," "Mom's B&B," "Miller Moving & Storage," "Dear Abby," "Got Junk?" "Google Maps," "Wiki-mom," "Memory Keeper" or "The Nanny" depending on who needs me at the moment. I'm a Mormon mom and grandma (traditional but sometimes unconventional). I like the new term for us boomer grandmas (glam-mother) because we have spent our whole lives redefining rules and stereotypes. WYSIWYG! I must have chocolate every day and I can say the alphabet backwards (fast!) - so can all my kids - our claim to fame!

Fundamental Principles of Our Religion

We don't spend our twenties trying to "find" ourselves....we know who we are. This gives us a jump-start on life!

Dulcet - adj. A sound or voice so gorgeous you just have to listen to it again and again no matter what. So recognizable that even the faintest hint of it in the distance can send your mind reeling.
