There is a special place for liars - those who bear false witness, who accuse, who use, who allow evil influences to remove common sense and kindness, who deliberately inflict pain on undeserving others, who are so self-centered they will even hurt and deprive their own children (of a loving father), and even take advantage of others so they can sit back and enjoy their selfish lives. And, there are the others who refuse to take a stance, stand up for right and stop craziness when the opportunity is there! As Gordon B. Hinckley said, "Stand for something."
I'm so sorry for Jon, your family and the precious girls.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is sad and it is wrong, but the solution to this problem is not more war and it's not more courts.
ReplyDeleteA real, permanent, lasting solution will only be found through following the precepts of Jesus Christ.
Reloading, stockpiling more ammunition, and/or seeking greater firepower to prosecute a bigger battle/war next time will not solve this problem. Escalation of armaments by both sides never ends a war it just creates more casualties.
As Tevye said, (paraphrased) "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth just results in a whole world full of blind and toothless people."
