The surgeon wants to meet with the family today at 5:00. The family has been determined to be his kids and Sandy only, though I suspect we'll see some spouses there too.
Update: He had a setback last night and this morning but by afternoon he was doing pretty well. It was good to hear from the surgeon directly and we feel pretty good about things. He's not out of the woods yet, but he is strong, lungs are good, heart is fine, kidneys functioning and BP is normal. It's just this abdominal infection (peritonitis) and colon resection with healing pancreatitis. He can pull through this with blessings, prayers and support!
