Reverse discrimination

So now, Chick-Fil-A (and of course all other businesses in the future) are coming under attack for sponsoring an event aimed at strengthening marriage. What has this world come to? Now it is "anti-gay" to support an event with an opposing goal. We are allowing this country to be controlled and our freedoms taken away by dictators in the name of "equality." What could be more ironic?

While everyone has a right to support or avoid businesses whose affiliations they don't like, it is un-American to abuse this freedom with reverse discrimination. Get real! Check here to read the article in DesNews.

Who I am...

I'm "Dr. Mom," "Dex," "Merry Maid" (or Jetson's "Rosie"), "Betty Crocker," "Nurse Nancy," "Mom's B&B," "Miller Moving & Storage," "Dear Abby," "Got Junk?" "Google Maps," "Wiki-mom," "Memory Keeper" or "The Nanny" depending on who needs me at the moment. I'm a Mormon mom and grandma (traditional but sometimes unconventional). I like the new term for us boomer grandmas (glam-mother) because we have spent our whole lives redefining rules and stereotypes. WYSIWYG! I must have chocolate every day and I can say the alphabet backwards (fast!) - so can all my kids - our claim to fame!

Fundamental Principles of Our Religion

We don't spend our twenties trying to "find" ourselves....we know who we are. This gives us a jump-start on life!

Dulcet - adj. A sound or voice so gorgeous you just have to listen to it again and again no matter what. So recognizable that even the faintest hint of it in the distance can send your mind reeling.
