I was thinking about grief and how none of us ever seem to know how to mourn with those who mourn. When someone loses a child (or children) it is really not helpful to tell them they can always have more. Yet some people seem to think the lost child or children are replaceable in a parent's heart.
You also can't replace one by saying you have others - though it is a blessing if you do.
It's true. Loved ones are truly irreplaceable.
