Please spread the word...

Jon's children in South Carolina will not be able to see him this holiday season unless he can come up with the money for their trip. South Carolina to Utah fares around Thanksgiving and Christmas are horrendously expensive. Jon's current hourly wages aren't enough to even pay the child support so he's looking for a way to earn the money he needs for their passage. If you don't know what an awesome photographer Jon is, just check out Aubrey's blog for some examples. He is really good with special effects too. You can reach him at jonkun227@gmail.com

He also just had to put a $200 part into his truck to get to work yesterday after it broke down on the freeway. Insurance and gas are another story entirely. He can really use any support you can offer. Legal fees for this craziness are out of sight and the kids want and need their dad in spite of what their mother is trying to do to keep them away!

Who I am...

I'm "Dr. Mom," "Dex," "Merry Maid" (or Jetson's "Rosie"), "Betty Crocker," "Nurse Nancy," "Mom's B&B," "Miller Moving & Storage," "Dear Abby," "Got Junk?" "Google Maps," "Wiki-mom," "Memory Keeper" or "The Nanny" depending on who needs me at the moment. I'm a Mormon mom and grandma (traditional but sometimes unconventional). I like the new term for us boomer grandmas (glam-mother) because we have spent our whole lives redefining rules and stereotypes. WYSIWYG! I must have chocolate every day and I can say the alphabet backwards (fast!) - so can all my kids - our claim to fame!

Fundamental Principles of Our Religion

We don't spend our twenties trying to "find" ourselves....we know who we are. This gives us a jump-start on life!

Dulcet - adj. A sound or voice so gorgeous you just have to listen to it again and again no matter what. So recognizable that even the faintest hint of it in the distance can send your mind reeling.
