We won!

Salt Lake City won the $1million from Walmart (Fighting hunger contest) for our food bank.  We got the most "likes" on facebook.  Yay!

My prize came

Hershey's sent me 275 pieces of Halloween candy for the Mom Blogger's Club contest I won. Yay!! Some Halloween trivia they shared about candy preference connection to Halloween costume choices:

• About 30% of Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, Kit Kat, and Milk Chocolate lovers will do the monster mash this year as a vampire, witch or monster.
• Fans of Twizzlers may show their dance moves as they twist the night away dressed in garb from the 1950s since more than 41% stated they plan to dress up in period piece costumes from different eras of the 20th century.
• Jolly Ranchers lovers will most likely sport a cape, as 23% expressed a desire to channel superhuman powers as their favorite superhero

The little tricksters love to put on their costumes and then wear them the rest of the year every chance they get! At work, we treat the day-care kids who parade the halls. Those kids make a killing and never even get cold!

Thursday Update

I appreciate everyone on Facebook who voted so far for Aubrey to win the cool stroller. I apologize for not realizing you had to be a "fan" of Parentville in order for your vote to count. Because of that we lost some votes. I don't expect anyone to be a fan unless they want to, but if you do, feel free to try again. I was excited and surprised to make it into the final five. If I'd realized I would have put more time into the limited wording they allowed :) I really thought it was kind of a long shot, one in a million. But, we're actually one in five so she has a chance. Not sure when the voting ends but it's a valentine thing so it will be soon. If you go there, vote for #1. You just put it in the comment section once you have become a fan and are logged into FB. Thanks to a cool feature, Get Me Home, a neighbor who found Suki/Mattie called and located the former owner who still had my phone number. She hadn't gone far but by the time I got home from work, it was dark and cold. I figured I needed to wait until morning. I called her several times but finally decided someone probably had found her.
