This is the newest building on campus, the Gordon B. Hinckley Center (Visitor and alumni center). It is a beautiful place.
This is where I share RANDOM rants and ruminations, beliefs, lists, dreams, goals, frustrations, bargains, and social injustices (EVAGATION, n. the act of wandering; excursion; a roving or rambling). More about me than you wanted to know. You may not agree with me but I hope you share my belief that what makes America great is freedom to have and express differing views. Enjoy peeking into my public journal if you want to know that part of me I share here. Enjoy!

End of a Busy Week
I finished Breaking Dawn before Education Week and I was not disappointed! Then I immersed myself in some amazing, spiritually enlightening classes for the rest of the week. The BYU campus was beautiful and it's a joy for me just to be there soaking up the spirit.

The photo doesn't do justice to the flowers.
I loved this place!
In honor of President Hinckley... I love that man!
A relaxing and inviting respite.
I came home on Saturday expecting to mow my lawn but dreading doing it in the heat of the day. I was pleasantly surprised to find Fred had already done it! I spent the rest of the day unpacking, doing laundry and catching up on blogs and email.

President Hinckley
Not a good photo - looks like I need a new one. My camera wasn't working well that day either.
Julia, Jasmine and Jaelyn
We have our own little Ground Hog. Yesterday was Jaelyn's third birthday (according to USA calendars) but she was born in Japan and it was Feb. 3 there so her birthday might be today, depending on how you look at it. She's a very sweet little thing.
I spent yesterday watching his funeral and feeling such gratitude and love for this wonderful man and prophet who has impacted so many people in this world. He wasted none of his 97 years. For a summary of the funeral you can go here: http://www.ldsmag.com/photoessay/080204funeral.html
A friend sent another YouTube video you might enjoy. If you want to hear this you may need to pause the automatic song in the right sidebar.

President Hinckley Passed Away Today
This is a nice tribute to our prophet who has now joined his beloved Marjorie and so many others. He felt like a grandpa to me.
As for myself, I had a horrible night. The recovery from surgery has been painful. Steve helped me endure it and went way over and beyond the call of duty, considering we aren't married!
