This is where I share RANDOM rants and ruminations, beliefs, lists, dreams, goals, frustrations, bargains, and social injustices (EVAGATION, n. the act of wandering; excursion; a roving or rambling). More about me than you wanted to know. You may not agree with me but I hope you share my belief that what makes America great is freedom to have and express differing views. Enjoy peeking into my public journal if you want to know that part of me I share here. Enjoy!

On the 3rd Day of Christmas...
A birthday gift to me - Chris is coming to Utah after a business trip to San Francisco in January! Unfortunately the rest of the family can't come with him but at least we can see him for about 10 days.
And one of my favorites - still-dreamy Paul McCartney
Totally spoiled on my birthday. Gifts include: digital photoframe, clean house (yes I did - even scrubbed bathroom!), my 18 grandkids' picture frames hung, new kitchen towel set, Susan Boyle's second album, beautiful work of art (photography), book, dinner, calls and FB wishes, cards, cash (from mom), special B&B lotion and a visit by my home teachers... Wow!

Paul was here...
In a historic moment, Paul McCartney (my favorite Beatle) was in SLC. And I could not afford it! So sad - wah!! To keep it in perspective - when I first fell in love I couldn't even afford a Beatles album. Fortunately my great Aunt Colene bought one for me and another for Carolyn when she learned we didn't have any and knew her daughter, Cindy, was crazy about the Beatles.

The Beatles!
My cousin, Kathy, shared this one on Facebook and it brought back such vivid memories I decided to post it here too. I can remember this like it was yesterday. I still swoon over Paul and it was greatness in the bud. Of course our parents didn't recognize that, but we did. And for once, we kids were right! The talent here was as significant in our day as classical composers were in theirs.
Enjoy the "really big shew!"
