Free Credit Report

Here's a tip: You can request your free annual copy of your credit report here.  There are 3 different reporting agencies and I have heard a financial advisor (Dave Ramsey?) say you should spread the requests out over the year (request one every 4 months rotating through the three agencies, TransUnion, Experian and Equifax) so you don't have to wait a full year to get another one free.  There could be something that shows up on one that doesn't on another so there is a chance you could miss something on the first or even second request but if you don't want to pay to get another, you are better off getting them more frequently because chances are problems will appear on the others as well.  This will allow you to keep tabs a little better.  Write it on your calendar so you won't forget to do it.

A much better deal

I found this one on a Target daily deal - $35 included shipping. Now how could you feel good about spending over $1,000. It still boggles my mind. This one even has a name - Tignanello - now aren't you impressed? (oh, and it even came with a key chain). The inside bag isn't actually a wallet but I found a decent one for $4 so we're good!
Actually I'm much more impressed by bargains than by extravagance.

And...Selected boxes of General Mills Cereal have a Free Movie Ticket! I thought it was going to be this huge process to get the tickets. But it wasn't! You just had to get online and enter in the code from inside the box and your free movie ticket voucher would print out. Easy and really cool!

Jet Blue has some great specials today only! Check it out if you plan to fly where they do Oct. 12 through December 16 - just in time for my birthday :) Lots of $29 to $99 deals. Delta also has some good deals this week. Gotta love competition and capitalism. Southwest is also having a deal - travel through Feb. 11 I think.
