This is where I share RANDOM rants and ruminations, beliefs, lists, dreams, goals, frustrations, bargains, and social injustices (EVAGATION, n. the act of wandering; excursion; a roving or rambling). More about me than you wanted to know. You may not agree with me but I hope you share my belief that what makes America great is freedom to have and express differing views. Enjoy peeking into my public journal if you want to know that part of me I share here. Enjoy!

Staycation
Avery and I on the tramp
Perfect campsite. The buyer for this house will be getting an amazing yard.
Josh set up our sleeping bags in the tent. He came to me and reported, "I put your sleeping bag right next to mine!" It was so cute - he even folded them down to be ready to climb in.
Love these little boys!
We made s'mores! Shirt riding up - better stop eating them!
My Joshy! Emma and Ashlie in back
Adam, Avery, Asher, Alex
Smoke follows beauty - Aubrey (Josh, Me, Avery)
Late night activity - Ashlie, Olivia and I (without the flash below)

Memories of Girl Scout Camp
Banana Boat: You will need a banana for each person and about 2 to 3 T. each of milk, chocolate chips, and miniature marshmallows. Take a knife and place it at the top of the curved part of the banana. Cut an opening down the center and open up the banana as if it were a canoe. Now place the milk chocolate chips and miniature marshmallows down the center. Wrap it in a piece of heavy duty foil and place on the hot coals for about 5 minutes or until the chocolate and marshmallows melt down the center. If you leave it too long the banana will become runny.
Enjoy your cannon ball meat loaf in and onion, your fresh garden salad and a piece of whole wheat bread or roll. After your main meal, show everyone how to make their banana boat.
If you are in an area where you can build a fire after dinner, do and sit around the fire and talk. (Source: Dian Thomas, Meridian Magazine)
