Conference

I had a great weekend in Provo, enjoyed good classes, danced a lot, met new friends from Idaho and saw others from some recent dances I have attended. People were very friendly and accepting of all. I think I've finally mastered "The Electric Slide" which I learned years ago but lost for lack of dancing opportunities. It seems you have to be single to find good dances around here (unless you go to bars).

The conference ended with a fireside Sunday evening and Elder Merrill Bateman was the speaker. It's getting more comfortable all the time to be in this kind of setting. I also got to spend time time with a special, kind, and generous friend. It felt like a vacation, yet didn't take a huge toll on my Visa card! My camera was acting up (I think it needs a new rechargeable) so I don't have photos to post here, sorry.

It will be hard to go back to work. Mondays are hard enough, but always worse following a fun weekend.
