Halloween Fun

Jennifer and the kids are coming home November 14. So, my quiet house will not be that way much longer. It also looks like Aubrey and the boys will also be coming soon. Feast or famine here I guess.

I went to the most amazing Halloween Haunted Lane. It's by invitation only - general public not allowed for safety reasons - their kids and grandkids run the whole thing and they don't want strangers will ill-intent showing up. But, you can't pay for anything as great as that was for Halloween. They had hand-carved over 100 jack o'lanterns, ton's of antiques - a real show. And this was not only free - they gave us treats - big treats and a delightful evening!

Who I am...

I'm "Dr. Mom," "Dex," "Merry Maid" (or Jetson's "Rosie"), "Betty Crocker," "Nurse Nancy," "Mom's B&B," "Miller Moving & Storage," "Dear Abby," "Got Junk?" "Google Maps," "Wiki-mom," "Memory Keeper" or "The Nanny" depending on who needs me at the moment. I'm a Mormon mom and grandma (traditional but sometimes unconventional). I like the new term for us boomer grandmas (glam-mother) because we have spent our whole lives redefining rules and stereotypes. WYSIWYG! I must have chocolate every day and I can say the alphabet backwards (fast!) - so can all my kids - our claim to fame!

Fundamental Principles of Our Religion

We don't spend our twenties trying to "find" ourselves....we know who we are. This gives us a jump-start on life!
