Kurt Bestor in Concert

Tonight Steve is taking me to see Kurt Bestor's concert for my birthday. I am excited for this one!

With warm storytelling and humor, Bestor creates a rapport with concert-goers that sets “A Kurt Bestor Christmas” apart from any other seasonal show. Always performing before sell-out crowds, Kurt Bestor showcases selections from his best-selling holiday album series. A band with a full orchestra, as well as additional guest performers, accompany Bestor on his Christmas tour. Featuring as many as 45 other musicians on stage, sophisticated sound and lights create an unforgettable evening.

Late note: The concert was fantastic!! If you've never experienced it, do it next year.

Who I am...

I'm "Dr. Mom," "Dex," "Merry Maid" (or Jetson's "Rosie"), "Betty Crocker," "Nurse Nancy," "Mom's B&B," "Miller Moving & Storage," "Dear Abby," "Got Junk?" "Google Maps," "Wiki-mom," "Memory Keeper" or "The Nanny" depending on who needs me at the moment. I'm a Mormon mom and grandma (traditional but sometimes unconventional). I like the new term for us boomer grandmas (glam-mother) because we have spent our whole lives redefining rules and stereotypes. WYSIWYG! I must have chocolate every day and I can say the alphabet backwards (fast!) - so can all my kids - our claim to fame!

Fundamental Principles of Our Religion

We don't spend our twenties trying to "find" ourselves....we know who we are. This gives us a jump-start on life!

Dulcet - adj. A sound or voice so gorgeous you just have to listen to it again and again no matter what. So recognizable that even the faintest hint of it in the distance can send your mind reeling.
