Barb and I are having a quiet, relaxing girl's weekend away. We went to a motel and plan to just veg out with cable TV movies and books, with some catch-up chit-chat between. The end of my recovery period - back to work next week!
Aubrey and boys are on their way here today too. Josh's grandmother (his biological dad's mom) had a stroke and they want to get here in time to see her or if she dies, attend the funeral. It doesn't look good for recovery. Aubrey also feels the need to get a way for a while and sort things out so it's full house again until things settle.
Chris is recoverying well. He has had more bleeding than we expected but apparently it is OK. He is off pain meds in hopes of being able to drive to work and actually function with a clear head so he has switched to Advil only. So, I guess we're all healing!
