Amber Alert - No April Fool's Joke Here

This little 7 year old girl from Burma who speaks limited English is missing - going on 24 hours now and it's cold here! My heart breaks for her and her family. Please pray for her safe return.

It is Fred's birthday today - we call him our April Fool. Happy Birthday to Fred! He is a fantastic son-in-law, a good husband and father, with a strong testimony of the Gospel.

Who I am...

I'm "Dr. Mom," "Dex," "Merry Maid" (or Jetson's "Rosie"), "Betty Crocker," "Nurse Nancy," "Mom's B&B," "Miller Moving & Storage," "Dear Abby," "Got Junk?" "Google Maps," "Wiki-mom," "Memory Keeper" or "The Nanny" depending on who needs me at the moment. I'm a Mormon mom and grandma (traditional but sometimes unconventional). I like the new term for us boomer grandmas (glam-mother) because we have spent our whole lives redefining rules and stereotypes. WYSIWYG! I must have chocolate every day and I can say the alphabet backwards (fast!) - so can all my kids - our claim to fame!

Fundamental Principles of Our Religion

We don't spend our twenties trying to "find" ourselves....we know who we are. This gives us a jump-start on life!

Dulcet - adj. A sound or voice so gorgeous you just have to listen to it again and again no matter what. So recognizable that even the faintest hint of it in the distance can send your mind reeling.
