Save the Family and News in Ours!

Late breaking headline: Natalie is at the hospital and contracting. She had an early appointment with the doctor to see if she was ready for induction and by the time she was at the hospital to get the IV labor had already actively begun!

I liked this musical plea created by Janice Kapp Perry and Joy Lundberg.

When the common sense definition of marriage was declared a form of bigotry by the Massachusetts courts, Catholic Charities in Boston was forced to close its 100 year old adoption program. Rights of religion and conscience were trampled upon in the name of a brave new social, cultural and legal norm that denies the importance of mothers and fathers for children.

Who I am...

I'm "Dr. Mom," "Dex," "Merry Maid" (or Jetson's "Rosie"), "Betty Crocker," "Nurse Nancy," "Mom's B&B," "Miller Moving & Storage," "Dear Abby," "Got Junk?" "Google Maps," "Wiki-mom," "Memory Keeper" or "The Nanny" depending on who needs me at the moment. I'm a Mormon mom and grandma (traditional but sometimes unconventional). I like the new term for us boomer grandmas (glam-mother) because we have spent our whole lives redefining rules and stereotypes. WYSIWYG! I must have chocolate every day and I can say the alphabet backwards (fast!) - so can all my kids - our claim to fame!

Fundamental Principles of Our Religion

We don't spend our twenties trying to "find" ourselves....we know who we are. This gives us a jump-start on life!

Dulcet - adj. A sound or voice so gorgeous you just have to listen to it again and again no matter what. So recognizable that even the faintest hint of it in the distance can send your mind reeling.
