Sweet kitty!

This adorable, friendly kitty just showed up a couple of weeks ago - probably a victim of "drive-by cattings" - poor little thing! She's not full-grown, is great with the kids, stays close by and seems to love us. Problem is, too many allergies in the family and we can't keep her. I hope to be able to find her a good home. She's too sweet to abandon to a life of scrounging. We have run ads but not found anyone to claim her.

Just now seeing your posting on the cat (5:30PM)--
Was surprised at how grown it is- somehow I got impression it was still pretty small. The authentication word I have to type in here, is catsti- how did you manage that??

Turns out the kitty is much more cute in person than in the photo. Being as how I was to your house Saturday. No question now, I can see why you would get attached to her.

Who I am...

I'm "Dr. Mom," "Dex," "Merry Maid" (or Jetson's "Rosie"), "Betty Crocker," "Nurse Nancy," "Mom's B&B," "Miller Moving & Storage," "Dear Abby," "Got Junk?" "Google Maps," "Wiki-mom," "Memory Keeper" or "The Nanny" depending on who needs me at the moment. I'm a Mormon mom and grandma (traditional but sometimes unconventional). I like the new term for us boomer grandmas (glam-mother) because we have spent our whole lives redefining rules and stereotypes. WYSIWYG! I must have chocolate every day and I can say the alphabet backwards (fast!) - so can all my kids - our claim to fame!

Fundamental Principles of Our Religion

We don't spend our twenties trying to "find" ourselves....we know who we are. This gives us a jump-start on life!

Dulcet - adj. A sound or voice so gorgeous you just have to listen to it again and again no matter what. So recognizable that even the faintest hint of it in the distance can send your mind reeling. "I wish i could speak to her again just to hear those dulcet tones - Urban Dictionary... and the more traditional definition: 1, pleasant to the ear; melodious. 2. pleasant or agreeable to the eye or the feelings; soothing.

ecotistical adj. feeling self-important due to conservationist ecological practices
