Going private again

I have tried this before then decided I didn't want a few people to make me do this, so I opened it again. Right now I feel censored by what I want to say so I'm going private. If you know someone who wants to read this blog, please let me know and I'll send an invitation to them. I realize I don't have email addresses for everyone in the family who reads this in order to send an invite.

I guess this is one resolution for today but this may be a temporary move until things settle down.

Should be working for the ones who were previously on here. Looks like it worked for Justin and Ashlie :) As for censorship. Karla's up to her old tricks again and I just can't hold it all in, but don't want it to bite me either. So, only those I trust get to be here. It's too bad and maybe after it's all over I can open it again....oh yeah, it will never really be OVER.

Who I am...

I'm "Dr. Mom," "Dex," "Merry Maid" (or Jetson's "Rosie"), "Betty Crocker," "Nurse Nancy," "Mom's B&B," "Miller Moving & Storage," "Dear Abby," "Got Junk?" "Google Maps," "Wiki-mom," "Memory Keeper" or "The Nanny" depending on who needs me at the moment. I'm a Mormon mom and grandma (traditional but sometimes unconventional). I like the new term for us boomer grandmas (glam-mother) because we have spent our whole lives redefining rules and stereotypes. WYSIWYG! I must have chocolate every day and I can say the alphabet backwards (fast!) - so can all my kids - our claim to fame!

Fundamental Principles of Our Religion

We don't spend our twenties trying to "find" ourselves....we know who we are. This gives us a jump-start on life!

Interesting words I like

Dulcet - adj. A sound or voice so gorgeous you just have to listen to it again and again no matter what. So recognizable that even the faintest hint of it in the distance can send your mind reeling. "I wish i could speak to her again just to hear those dulcet tones - Urban Dictionary... and the more traditional definition: 1, pleasant to the ear; melodious. 2. pleasant or agreeable to the eye or the feelings; soothing.

ecotistical adj. feeling self-important due to conservationist ecological practices
