OK, I have to spread the word...

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month! This year 11,000 women will be diagnosed and 4,000 will die.

Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer in women worldwide and is caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). Please help ARHP support Cervical Cancer Awareness Month by learning and sharing information about HPV and cervical cancer, the importance of the Pap and HPV tests, and how the HPV vaccine can reduce the incidence of cervical cancer. Who I am...

I'm "Dr. Mom," "Dex," "Merry Maid" (or Jetson's "Rosie"), "Betty Crocker," "Nurse Nancy," "Mom's B&B," "Miller Moving & Storage," "Dear Abby," "Got Junk?" "Google Maps," "Wiki-mom," "Memory Keeper" or "The Nanny" depending on who needs me at the moment. I'm a Mormon mom and grandma (traditional but sometimes unconventional). I like the new term for us boomer grandmas (glam-mother) because we have spent our whole lives redefining rules and stereotypes. WYSIWYG! I must have chocolate every day and I can say the alphabet backwards (fast!) - so can all my kids - our claim to fame!

Fundamental Principles of Our Religion

We don't spend our twenties trying to "find" ourselves....we know who we are. This gives us a jump-start on life!

Dulcet - adj. A sound or voice so gorgeous you just have to listen to it again and again no matter what. So recognizable that even the faintest hint of it in the distance can send your mind reeling.
