I have never been a big supporter of my alumni, Weber State University (financially or in sports loyalty), but I must say I was proud of them when I read that they are responding to students' complaints that they are" tired of walking through smoke on their way to class" by proposing that the school become the first smoke-free public college campus in Utah. If successful they will join some 381 U.S.colleges with campus-wide smoking bans. It's about time that not only health-care but education put some walk in their talk about knowledge and the adverse effects of tobacco.
Way to go, Wildcats!
