Thousands of luminaries

The 2011 Christmas luminary display - this is an amazing sight! Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park at 3401 S. Highland Dr. in Salt Lake.

Join us Saturday, December 17th from 5-8 PM as we honor loved ones that have passed away with a luminary of more than 10,000 candles throughout the cemetery. After seeing the impressive display of light, come inside and take a break from the holiday rush. Warm yourself by the fire with hot chocolate and treats.

Who I am...

I'm "Dr. Mom," "Dex," "Merry Maid" (or Jetson's "Rosie"), "Betty Crocker," "Nurse Nancy," "Mom's B&B," "Miller Moving & Storage," "Dear Abby," "Got Junk?" "Google Maps," "Wiki-mom," "Memory Keeper" or "The Nanny" depending on who needs me at the moment. I'm a Mormon mom and grandma (traditional but sometimes unconventional). I like the new term for us boomer grandmas (glam-mother) because we have spent our whole lives redefining rules and stereotypes. WYSIWYG! I must have chocolate every day and I can say the alphabet backwards (fast!) - so can all my kids - our claim to fame!

Fundamental Principles of Our Religion

We don't spend our twenties trying to "find" ourselves....we know who we are. This gives us a jump-start on life!

Dulcet - adj. A sound or voice so gorgeous you just have to listen to it again and again no matter what. So recognizable that even the faintest hint of it in the distance can send your mind reeling.
