Of course it's always hard to go back to work on Monday after a weekend having fun but to really make it a Monday morning, my computer was still acting up. It shut down on me, froze up and was very slow. This after the IT guy checked everything out before I left on Thursday, ran all the anti-viral and anti-spy software, cleaned off old files, reinstalled the OS, etc. So, I put in a ticket for help again, turned off the computer and went for my walk. When I came back it was still slow but I went ahead with my work and by the time IT got there it was acting fine again - go figure!
We also found out the problem with my home computer is the power supply. We have tried to find another for this funny old computer but we haven't been able to find one so it looks like I'll be needing to buy another PC. That pretty well clinched my not going to Japan in June. We'll see how it looks for August if I can scrape up the money for a passport in time. If not, maybe next year.
This is Women's Health Week and since this is my specialty, I have to promote it. I even made appointments for my annual (yuk!) recommended exams so I'm practicing what I'm preaching.
