I've been too busy to even blog!
Last weekend I went to the Handcart Pageant in Nephi. What an amazing event! I have two ancestors from the ill-fated handcart companies (one in Martin; one in Willie). Sarah Emily Wall and Paul Gourley and they each have amazing stories so it was nice to see this re-enactment and tribute. The pageant was professional, with beautiful set, special effects, good lighting and sound and it was free!
Also spent a very nice weekend in Provo and I even managed a Saver's Shopping Spree.
Last night I went to Murray City's Pirates of Penzance. They also did a good job. I enjoyed the costumes, choreography and orchestra. "Gilbert and Sullivan" is difficult so I have great admiration for the performers, though it's not one of my favorite shows.
