Go Green!

Some might say this must be a slow news day, but I'm happy! It's the little things, right? (Besides, a break from politics can't be all bad - I have plenty to say on that and you know what they say... "if you can't say something nice....")

Yay! I was able to get a replacement crank for my Suncast hose hider/reel. I love it when they make it easy to fix rather than just replace and add to the landfill. This reinforces my faith in a product. It's in the mail....

Actually things got worse as the day wore on so good thing it started out well.

Who I am...

I'm "Dr. Mom," "Dex," "Merry Maid" (or Jetson's "Rosie"), "Betty Crocker," "Nurse Nancy," "Mom's B&B," "Miller Moving & Storage," "Dear Abby," "Got Junk?" "Google Maps," "Wiki-mom," "Memory Keeper" or "The Nanny" depending on who needs me at the moment. I'm a Mormon mom and grandma (traditional but sometimes unconventional). I like the new term for us boomer grandmas (glam-mother) because we have spent our whole lives redefining rules and stereotypes. WYSIWYG! I must have chocolate every day and I can say the alphabet backwards (fast!) - so can all my kids - our claim to fame!

Fundamental Principles of Our Religion

We don't spend our twenties trying to "find" ourselves....we know who we are. This gives us a jump-start on life!

Dulcet - adj. A sound or voice so gorgeous you just have to listen to it again and again no matter what. So recognizable that even the faintest hint of it in the distance can send your mind reeling.
