I was attending an OB/Newborn nurses conference for a couple of days so no blogging, no computer. I was having withdrawal! I had pre-set a couple of posts so it would look like activity was going on. (The magic of the internet). Sometimes I have more to say than days to say it in so I just schedule it ahead.
For those who were watching the Avery update - he was discharged yesterday afternoon as Natalie had hoped. But, at this point we didn't take anything they said too seriously until it actually happened. So, they're all adjusting to life with the family now and very glad to be home. I just got home from Midway and I'm catching up myself. By the way, the colors in the mountains are spectacular and the weather was perfect! We got to have long lunch hours so we could go outside and enjoy it.
This is where I share RANDOM rants and ruminations, beliefs, lists, dreams, goals, frustrations, bargains, and social injustices (EVAGATION, n. the act of wandering; excursion; a roving or rambling). More about me than you wanted to know. You may not agree with me but I hope you share my belief that what makes America great is freedom to have and express differing views. Enjoy peeking into my public journal if you want to know that part of me I share here. Enjoy!
Hey, I know how proud I was that it was my friend ("little sister") on Oprah -- if it was my own daughter, I would have been shouting it from the rooftops. I don't blame you at all for being one very proud Mama! Your little girl did you very proud! And I'm sure it was difficult in the middle of the family trauma for everyone to focus attention so many different directions. You all have a very loving, supportive family :-) No wonder I like being a part of it!
