Another move

Steve and Aubrey moved to their new place this week. It will be much better all around - closer to Steve's work and school, Josh's school, the rest of the family (both Steve and Aubrey's), easy access to the freeway to Salt Lake. I haven't seen it yet but Aubrey says it's nice and has washer/dryer hookups, although not gas which is what her dryer is. But overall, lots of advantages. Let's face it, we rarely have reason to go to Ogden so they were just out of the way. I know it was frustrating for her that they didn't get anyone coming to see them there. Anyway, things are looking better at least on that end. Now she gets to put everything away - again!

good for her! Great that Steve has a job and they have their own place!! They seem to be doing great...that's good!!

Hey, your name's like mine (RN4moms - but that's my hotmail account). Actually they were in their own place but it was a major pain for them to live in Roy when nothing else was up there! They did it for the dogs, but then ultimately Steve gave the dogs to an Army buddy and they never even needed the "pet friendly" apartment, but they were stuck with a six month lease.

Who I am...

I'm "Dr. Mom," "Dex," "Merry Maid" (or Jetson's "Rosie"), "Betty Crocker," "Nurse Nancy," "Mom's B&B," "Miller Moving & Storage," "Dear Abby," "Got Junk?" "Google Maps," "Wiki-mom," "Memory Keeper" or "The Nanny" depending on who needs me at the moment. I'm a Mormon mom and grandma (traditional but sometimes unconventional). I like the new term for us boomer grandmas (glam-mother) because we have spent our whole lives redefining rules and stereotypes. WYSIWYG! I must have chocolate every day and I can say the alphabet backwards (fast!) - so can all my kids - our claim to fame!

Fundamental Principles of Our Religion

We don't spend our twenties trying to "find" ourselves....we know who we are. This gives us a jump-start on life!

Dulcet - adj. A sound or voice so gorgeous you just have to listen to it again and again no matter what. So recognizable that even the faintest hint of it in the distance can send your mind reeling. "I wish i could speak to her again just to hear those dulcet tones - Urban Dictionary... and the more traditional definition: 1, pleasant to the ear; melodious. 2. pleasant or agreeable to the eye or the feelings; soothing.

ecotistical adj. feeling self-important due to conservationist ecological practices
