5th Day of Christmas - for your driving pleasure...

Last night my friend and I drove through Temple View Drive. It loops the Bountiful Temple and displays on homeowners' lawns the Christmas story in scripture and beautiful art by Joseph Brickey. The first scene is right across from the temple, then it moves from the north end of the circle which goes around the temple to the west and back east again. It's beautiful!

If you want to see another delightful site from the warmth of your car, check out Wasatch Lawn Cemetery. They have a luminary display that is breathtaking. It is always the Saturday before Christmas, so that would be this week. You can view from the warmth of your car and browse at your leisure. Trust me, this is worth seeing. 3400 S. Highland Dr. in SLC.

Who I am...

I'm "Dr. Mom," "Dex," "Merry Maid" (or Jetson's "Rosie"), "Betty Crocker," "Nurse Nancy," "Mom's B&B," "Miller Moving & Storage," "Dear Abby," "Got Junk?" "Google Maps," "Wiki-mom," "Memory Keeper" or "The Nanny" depending on who needs me at the moment. I'm a Mormon mom and grandma (traditional but sometimes unconventional). I like the new term for us boomer grandmas (glam-mother) because we have spent our whole lives redefining rules and stereotypes. WYSIWYG! I must have chocolate every day and I can say the alphabet backwards (fast!) - so can all my kids - our claim to fame!

Fundamental Principles of Our Religion

We don't spend our twenties trying to "find" ourselves....we know who we are. This gives us a jump-start on life!

Dulcet - adj. A sound or voice so gorgeous you just have to listen to it again and again no matter what. So recognizable that even the faintest hint of it in the distance can send your mind reeling.
