LDS Radio featuring streaming Christmas can be heard here. If, like me, you are tired of Burl Ives' Holly Jolly Christmas, and Brenda Lee's Jingle Bell Rock, this might be a welcome change.
There will also be broadcast A Christmas Carol from the The Escondido and Escondido California South stakes' production of "A Christmas Carol" will air online at www.wsradio.com/itsnewstome on Dec. 24 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Members of the two stakes are teaming up to perform radio broadcast formats of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" and the birth of Christ from Luke for their annual Christmas concert in the California Center for the Arts, Escondido, on Dec. 22 at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Directed by Justin and Cathy Gray of the Felicita Ward, Escondido South Stake, the program features variety acts, a 100-voice choir and soloists, and a professional 11-piece band. Before and in between the two radio shows, members of the stake will share their talents in song and dance. Acts will include a bell choir, line dancing, solo dancing, singing and comedy acts.
Click here for information or if you live in the area and want to attend the live programs.
