Deal of the Day

Wow! Cool label maker for $16.99 (and free shipping too)! Buy.com of course. I have one of these and I love it! Refills can be a little pricey if the kids get hold of it. They usually come with a limited supply. This is a good price if you've been thinking about getting one. Someone recently asked me about mine and now I can't remember who it was to tell them about this.

I also found this on Amazon a little cheaper but you need to spend $25 for free shipping. Another place with the same price as Buy.com is Dealighted.

Who I am...

I'm "Dr. Mom," "Dex," "Merry Maid" (or Jetson's "Rosie"), "Betty Crocker," "Nurse Nancy," "Mom's B&B," "Miller Moving & Storage," "Dear Abby," "Got Junk?" "Google Maps," "Wiki-mom," "Memory Keeper" or "The Nanny" depending on who needs me at the moment. I'm a Mormon mom and grandma (traditional but sometimes unconventional). I like the new term for us boomer grandmas (glam-mother) because we have spent our whole lives redefining rules and stereotypes. WYSIWYG! I must have chocolate every day and I can say the alphabet backwards (fast!) - so can all my kids - our claim to fame!

Fundamental Principles of Our Religion

We don't spend our twenties trying to "find" ourselves....we know who we are. This gives us a jump-start on life!

Dulcet - adj. A sound or voice so gorgeous you just have to listen to it again and again no matter what. So recognizable that even the faintest hint of it in the distance can send your mind reeling.
