I won!

I entered the Mom Bloggers contest sponsored by Hershey's and they're sending me a Halloween Gift Pack. I think this means they're buying the treats for me to give out this year. Hope it's enough for my work day care too! (See last week's post about this)

I do love chocolate!! At this time of year one of my favorites is Hershey kisses with almonds in festive fall wrapping. They have a pumpkin spice and caramel apple flavors this year but I crave the cherry cordial or raspberry.

Who I am...

I'm "Dr. Mom," "Dex," "Merry Maid" (or Jetson's "Rosie"), "Betty Crocker," "Nurse Nancy," "Mom's B&B," "Miller Moving & Storage," "Dear Abby," "Got Junk?" "Google Maps," "Wiki-mom," "Memory Keeper" or "The Nanny" depending on who needs me at the moment. I'm a Mormon mom and grandma (traditional but sometimes unconventional). I like the new term for us boomer grandmas (glam-mother) because we have spent our whole lives redefining rules and stereotypes. WYSIWYG! I must have chocolate every day and I can say the alphabet backwards (fast!) - so can all my kids - our claim to fame!

Fundamental Principles of Our Religion

We don't spend our twenties trying to "find" ourselves....we know who we are. This gives us a jump-start on life!

Dulcet - adj. A sound or voice so gorgeous you just have to listen to it again and again no matter what. So recognizable that even the faintest hint of it in the distance can send your mind reeling.
