Both born on April 18! We also have a grandson who was born on the other great-grandma's birthday. Kind of fun...
My mom is a retired school teacher who raised 7 kids pretty much single-handedly (born in 10 years' time before returning to school for her degree which ultimately became a master's). She is a real go-getter.
Well, here's wishing her a long and happy life as a senior - I guess by now she is considered that! Ha! I get AARP benefits myself, but I'm in denial I think. I won't turn down any discounts. I love shopping at Ross on Tuesday senior discount day!
This is where I share RANDOM rants and ruminations, beliefs, lists, dreams, goals, frustrations, bargains, and social injustices (EVAGATION, n. the act of wandering; excursion; a roving or rambling). More about me than you wanted to know. You may not agree with me but I hope you share my belief that what makes America great is freedom to have and express differing views. Enjoy peeking into my public journal if you want to know that part of me I share here. Enjoy!
Happy Birthday Grandma...and Liz!! This is a busy month of bdays! Kase turns 6 tomorrow, and Chloe turned 3 last week! Whew!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Mrs. Madsen! She doesn't look a day older than she did when she was my 6th grade teacher. Still one of my favorites!!!
