Sad news - Big money and lobbying are damaging the proposed and debated tobacco tax increase. This is unfortunate because we know that increasing costs help reduce tobacco use; just as increased gas prices resulted in a huge decrease in oil consumption. one good thing is the increase in the cap for CHIP is going to be paid for by a 0.62 cent increase in cigarette tax....
