Officially Dating!

OK, here I am - officially checking out the LDS Singles dating scene. So far, so good. I had a great week with dances, dates and nice attention! Practicing dancing is making a difference. I have had some fun partners who have been great to show me the new moves! (Well, new for me anyway). I'm realizing there are some really great single people out there - I think I will attend the Utah County Multi-Stake Conference toward the end of the week. It actually goes all week but with gas prices as they are a little too far to drive more than a couple of days. So, today is a work day - mow the lawn, clean the house, etc. etc. etc.

Who I am...

I'm "Dr. Mom," "Dex," "Merry Maid" (or Jetson's "Rosie"), "Betty Crocker," "Nurse Nancy," "Mom's B&B," "Miller Moving & Storage," "Dear Abby," "Got Junk?" "Google Maps," "Wiki-mom," "Memory Keeper" or "The Nanny" depending on who needs me at the moment. I'm a Mormon mom and grandma (traditional but sometimes unconventional). I like the new term for us boomer grandmas (glam-mother) because we have spent our whole lives redefining rules and stereotypes. WYSIWYG! I must have chocolate every day and I can say the alphabet backwards (fast!) - so can all my kids - our claim to fame!

Fundamental Principles of Our Religion

We don't spend our twenties trying to "find" ourselves....we know who we are. This gives us a jump-start on life!

Dulcet - adj. A sound or voice so gorgeous you just have to listen to it again and again no matter what. So recognizable that even the faintest hint of it in the distance can send your mind reeling.
