Aubrey and Steve returned this morning, anxious to begin the next phase of their "non-military" life. We were relieved that they made the trip safely, in spite of the storm and they're happy to be reunited as a family. Josh commented, "now all my family is back together again."
They found a new owner for their dogs so did not have to bring them. Aubrey has had a lot of grief, water damage, lack of water, etc. in the apartment so it has been a challenge. They hope to be able to get a better place to live so another move is likely in the near future. Too bad she didn't have time to find it before the Army moved their stuff. Moving someone seems to be the story of our lives.
Jenn and Fred suffered yet another disappointment as another home they placed an offer on (second one in a month) went to a competitive bid. Jenn was getting pretty excited about this one so she took it pretty hard. Hopefully they will find something soon.
