Cool exhibit in Utah

Looking for something to do today? I have seen the original in Washington D.C. and it is a very moving experience. Even half size I'm sure it will be impressive.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial Moving Wall Visit to Ogden - May 21-25, 2009: The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Moving Wall will be displayed at Leavitt’s Mortuary/Aultorest Memorial Park in Ogden. Leavitt’s is located at 836 36th St. The wall is a half-size replica of the permanent Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C. The permanent and traveling walls were constructed for the sole purpose of honoring the 58,210 soldiers who gave their lives during the Vietnam War. The exhibit will be open to the public from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. May 21 through 25. Admission is free. For information, call Leavitt’s Mortuary/Aultocrest Memorial Park at (801) 394-5556.

Who I am...

I'm "Dr. Mom," "Dex," "Merry Maid" (or Jetson's "Rosie"), "Betty Crocker," "Nurse Nancy," "Mom's B&B," "Miller Moving & Storage," "Dear Abby," "Got Junk?" "Google Maps," "Wiki-mom," "Memory Keeper" or "The Nanny" depending on who needs me at the moment. I'm a Mormon mom and grandma (traditional but sometimes unconventional). I like the new term for us boomer grandmas (glam-mother) because we have spent our whole lives redefining rules and stereotypes. WYSIWYG! I must have chocolate every day and I can say the alphabet backwards (fast!) - so can all my kids - our claim to fame!

Fundamental Principles of Our Religion

We don't spend our twenties trying to "find" ourselves....we know who we are. This gives us a jump-start on life!

Dulcet - adj. A sound or voice so gorgeous you just have to listen to it again and again no matter what. So recognizable that even the faintest hint of it in the distance can send your mind reeling.
